A Holistic Nutritionist is a practitioner who observes the client as a whole, not merely as a set of physical symptoms. Psychological, social and environmental aspects are taken into account, with an understanding of the mind and body connection. The body’s natural capacity to self regulate and self heal is prompted into action.
In my practice, each client is encouraged to take responsibility for is or her own well-being and work together with me to determine what will work best. For optimal health, all parts of the whole are attended to while seeking the root cause, uncovering why you feel the way you do. This approach, though not instantaneous, has lasting results as opposed to simply alleviating symptoms.
Approximately 1.5 hours.
We will meet one-on-one to explore your health history and discuss symptomology as it relates to your particular biochemistry.
You will receive a customized, detailed protocol centred on:
n sound nutritional advice, specific to you
n practical lifestyle suggestions
n an appropriate array of supplement choices
Approximately 1 month later, for 30-60 minutes.
We will measure your progress, perhaps fine-tune your protocol and begin the cleansing phases of the program. Every attempt is made to ease you through the process.
Dependent on your progress, for 30-60 minutes.
Depending on the degree of your situation, as well as your individual make-up, we may need to meet a few times over the period of several months. More stubborn situations will require extra time but together we can decide on the frequency of your visits.
Ultimately, once you are feeling wonderful and energetic, you will be offered a maintenance program. This phase means you are well on your way to improved health with a supplement program and an eating plan better suited to the needs of your body.
Remembering that health is volatile and dependent on a variety of factors, some outside of your control, means checking in for a 30 minute tune-up every 6-12 months is advisable, and more frequently should your body indicate the need for a protocol alteration.
